Gettin' more laaaaaaazzzy...

Well, another month has passed...I'm sitting here, waiting for my shift to end, and about to doze off any second. So tons of things I need to catch up on.
Last night our folk and fairy tale class met up to watch Disney movies. We watched Snow White and Beauty and the Beast. Our professor ordered pizza, salad, and brought red wine. It was so much more fun than I expected. It was so amusing to hear everyone tear up the movies. Our professor had never seen a Disney movie before. Hard to imagine to go through half your life and never seeing a Disney movie.
So what else...oooh. Pam's colleague and his wife treated us to a Taiwanese breakfast sooo many Sundays ago. It was delicious~~ Never as good as Taiwan but good enough:P
I also went to a dessert party my classmate Whitney and her husband hosted. I brought funnel cake---well, funnel crisps because I couldn't get the dough to shape into a cake. It was a HIT. Ha. I made a box full and it was cleaned out! I was so happy. I will try to remember to post pictures later.
Mooncake lets me feed him now! I just hold his food between my fingers and wait until he grabs it with his mouth. Sometimes he bends back to much and flops right onto his back:P He is so cute. He knows how to ask me for food too. Whenever he sees me and is hungry he scrabbles at the scrabble wall of his cage until I feed him.
More recently. On Halloween I dressed up as Doraemon because the Technology Department held a costume contest and almost everyone was dressing up. I also made gingerbread cupcakes. I will upload some picture later. That evening I was debating whether to go trick-or-treating or to kunhgfu class. Of course trick-or-treating won. I'm so glad I went. It was sooo much fun! There were hundreds of kids and adults around the neighborhood, the most interesting costumes I saw were a guy dressed as an armchair and a kid dressed up as a toilet:P I went around for 2 hours. I even stumbled upon a classmate's apartment! That sure was sort of embarrassing. I actually got lost by the time I decided to head back. But of course I got back safely, or else I wouldn't be writing this now.:P My last stop was our next-door neighbor's. They were an elderly couple, and the woman waved me over saying they were about to close up. She had a big bowl still filled with Hershey and KitKat bars, and she dumped them right into my bag!! Haha! When I counted my loot later I had 192 pieces of candy.
Even though a good portion of my reading time was sacrificed, it sure was worth it.
